In 2015 we commissioned a feasibility study into future investment in the Victory Hall in Stogursey so that it can continue to serve as a centre for community, sporting and recreational activity in the village and surrounding area. We wanted to address local needs but also ensure that the Hall remains financially viable and keeps this important, thriving site at the heart of community life.
The feasibility study was written by 2MD Regeneration and Vivid Regeneration and was overseen by a steering group of representatives of the Victory Hall, the Parish Council and West Somerset District Council.
The steering group wants to promote an innovative development that respects and celebrates the location, actively involves local people and local groups, draws in visitors and acts as a catalyst for other regeneration initiatives and activities in the village. Ultimately the feasibility study will provide a proposal which can be used to tender for a design and build contract.
